Visiting with mama fox

I've been AWOL for the last six or seven weeks due to some extensive travelling. I'm back now and I have a lot of images to share.
My wife and I had the pleasure of CaliforniaPeggy's company this morning for a brief trip to visit with the local fox family. I used a much longer lens than Peggy did, plus I used a lot of heavy cropping and AI sharpening to produce these pics. The image quality isn't great, but the subject matter makes up for it.
A once in a lifetime shot!

My wife and I drove from one end of New Zealand to the other. Here are just a few of the thousands of images I have to go through. More to come.
